Mission Statement

The mission of the Alabama Chapter, American Public Works Association (APWA) is to serve its members by advancing the theory and practice of design, maintenance, administration and operation of public works facilities and services to maintain and improve the quality of life of the citizens they serve. We will disseminate information and promote improved practices in public works administration and encourage public works officials to adhere to a standard of professional excellence. We will support the professional and social improvement of the profession and its members through education, advocacy, and the exchange of knowledge.
